About.

This installer (“Platform”) is operated by the Rise Platforms Ltd. and is using various open-source projects. The Platform enables software developers and website owners (“Developers”) to present you with optional software.

Information related to you may be collected directly from your device once the Platform is integrated by one of the Developers, and/or indirectly by the 3^rd party software partner – if you performed an action related to their software or on their website, which may entitle us to a payment, depending on the agreement with them.

The Privacy Policy only describes the Platform’s privacy practices.

Information Collected by us through the Platform.

General technical information about your device such as your operating system and your interactions with the Platform; Identifiers: We identify your device based on a unique user ID we generate, your IP address and SID or MGUID, for the purpose of detecting and preventing fraud and other interactions initiated by automated means. We also use your IP address to understand the country and city in which you are located and for the detection and prevention of fraud and forbidden automated means.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties.

Advertisers for reporting and measurement purposes; our corporate affiliates for internal operations and from which we receive services, such as security, storage, IT and provision of 3^rd party campaigns; Third party Service providers for receiving a variety of services (e.g. security, fraud detection and prevention, reporting, and storage). The third parties we are currently engaging are:

• Amazon Web Services, Inc. The measures taken by Amazon to protect the security of their servers and your information are detailed at: https://aws.amazon.com/security/.
• MaxMind, Inc. The measures taken by MaxMind to protect the security of their servers and your information are detailed at: https://www.maxmind.com/en/privacy-policy.
• MongoDB Ltd. The measures taken by MongoDB to protect the security of their servers and your information are detailed at: https://www.mongodb.com/legal/privacy-policy.

How We Use the Information collected.

We may use your information across the services as follows:

o   We use your information to technically enable the download and installation of Publisher’s software.

o   We use your information to analyze your interactions with the platform, generate reports for advertisers and 3^rd party software and bill the partner.

o   We use your information when you downloaded optional offers via our Platform, for which we may receive payment.

o   We use your information for detecting and preventing fraud and other interactions initiated by automated means.

o   We use your information for optimizing the optional offers to make sure that you receive offers that are compatible and relevant to your device and to limit the number of times you view an offer on the Platform.

o   We use your information for internal operations, such as support, debugging, security, and improving the services.

o   We may use your information to comply with applicable legal obligations.

General Data Protection Regulation.  

We act as controllers and when we process your personal data for the reasons listed in this Privacy Policy, we do so on the basis of the legitimate interest. Such legitimate interest includes enabling the download and installations of additional 3^rd party software requested by you; to ensure that an offer is compatible with your device’s settings and features and that you do not receive an offer multiple times; to analyze your interactions with the Platform for the improvement of the service, to secure the Platform and for us to be able to receive payments from our partners.

1. When we process information received indirectly (from the 3^rdparty developer), we may further process it for internal optimization of the Platform, based on the legitimate interest.
2. We may process your information for compliance with applicable laws and legal obligations.
3. You always have the right to request access and/or rectification and/or erasure of your personal data which we process as controllers, or to restrict or to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation. For further details, please see the “Data Subject Rights” section below.
4. In case we have not addressed your concerns, you have the right to file a complaint with your country or domicile supervisory authority.

Retention.

Your information will be retained for a period of no more than 3 years from the date such information was first stored in the systems. One copy of your information may be stored by us for compliance with legal obligations as well as for establishing, defending, and exercising legal claims.

Data Location & International Transfers.

Information collected from your device will be stored on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. Therefore, if you do not live in the United States, we will transfer your information and store it in, the United States. General Data Protection Regulation: If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will transfer your information to the United States based on the Standard Contractual Clauses. Please contact us if you wish to receive a copy of these clauses.

Children’s Privacy.

We recognize the particular importance of protecting the privacy of children and are committed to protecting children’s privacy on the Internet. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information collected on the internet from children under the age of 13, except to the extent that the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act permits us to collect and maintain such information without parental consent. If you have reason to believe that your child provided us with personal information that is covered by the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act without your required consent, you are welcome to contact us at legal@rise-platforms.com and we will make reasonable efforts to delete such information. However please note that the services may link to other websites or mobile apps that have their own privacy practices, different privacy policies and terms of use, which are not associated with us in any way and to which we are not responsible.  You acknowledge that we cannot control these websites and/or mobile apps and we shall not be responsible for any use of such websites and/or mobile apps.  General Data Protection Regulation: We do not collect or process personal data from individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland whom we know to be under the age of 16, except to support the legitimate interests or that of the publisher’s or to comply with applicable laws.

Data Subject Rights

Please send us an email to: legal@rise-platforms.com if you wish to exercise your privacy rights under any applicable law, including the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), or the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA). Such rights may include, to the extent applicable, the right to know/request access to (specific pieces of personal information collected; categories of personal information collected; categories of sources from whom the personal information was collected; purpose of collecting personal data; and categories of third parties with whom we have shared personal data), to request rectification or erasure of your personal data held with us, your right to restrict or object to such personal information’s processing, or to port such personal information or the right to equal services and prices (e.g., freedom from discrimination) (each to the extent available to you under the laws which apply to you). If you are a GDPR-protected individual, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in the EU or the UK, as applicable.

Subject to applicable privacy laws, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. Please note, that before we take any action, we may ask you to provide us additional information, including personal data, in order to authenticate and validate your identity and process your request.

Security

We employ industry standard measures, procedures and policies to ensure the safety of your personal data, and to prevent unauthorized use of any information. Please note that regardless of the measures and efforts taken by us, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your information.

Requirements Under US States Privacy Laws.

This Policy describes the categories of personal information we may collect and the sources of such information, our retention and deletion practices. We also included information about how we may process your information, which includes for “business purposes” under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)/California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar state laws, as applicable. We do not sell your personal information for the intents and purposes of the CCPA or CPRA. We may share (as such term is defined under the CPRA) personal information with third parties if we have an appropriate contractual terms with the business that controls the collection of the shared personal information. We may also disclose personal information with third parties that are authorized Service Providers or business partners who have agreed to our contractual limitations as to their retention, use, and disclose of such personal information. You may also designate an authorized agent, in writing or through the power of attorney, to request to exercise your privacy rights on your behalf. The authorized agent may submit a request to exercise these rights by emailing us via legal@rise-platforms.com. We will not discriminate against you by withholding our services from you or providing a lower quality of service to you for requesting to exercise your rights under the law.

Amendments to the Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy will be updated by us, in the sole discretion, on a regular basis and is posted here: http://rise-platforms.com/privacy/. We therefore recommend that you check this Privacy Policy periodically for modifications. We will indicate when this Privacy Policy has been modified by revising the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. By continuing to access and/or use a software/website which includes the services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
